REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is set to install his former mate Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or known as Ahok as Governor of Jakarta. Yet, the inauguration day hasn't decided.

"I will be installed tomorrow or maybe Wednesday," Acting Jakarta Governor Ahok said on Monday, November 17. Ahok said he might be inaugurated in State Palace. Ahok became acting governor as Jokowi elected as Indonesian President.

Bureaucracy management will become his first priority. "We want to finish all problems related to bureaucracy," he said. Thus, he will appoint new officers to reach his mission.

Minister of Interior Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo hopes Jokowi will soon install Ahok as the governor. "I hope President Jokowi will issue Presidential Decree soon," he said. However, Kumolo admits that he doesn't understand the procedure of the inauguration as it is ruled by State Secretary.
