PDIP asks Indonesians to watch Jokowi carrying his mandate

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) asked  Indonesian people to watch the performance of Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and Jusuf Kalla (JK) in carrying mandate as Indonesia's president and vice president. PDIP's Deputy Secretary General, Eriko Sotarduga said that Jokowi-JK's victory was Indonesian people's victory.

"Actively public participation is important for government under Jokowi-JK. Moreover, all of us must support and watch the new government together," Sotarduga said on Wednesday.

General Election Commission (KPU) has completed the voting count for 2014 president and vice president in 33 provinces and abroad. Jokowi and JK won with 70,997,883 of votes compared to Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa with 62,576,444 of votes.
