REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The three presidential and vice presidential candidates highlighted the issue of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). They also encourage MSMEs to take classes.
Deputy Treasurer of TKN Prabowo-Gibran Bobby Gafur Umar said the second step was to prepare a program to develop MSMEs. He said that large companies should cooperate with MSMEs.
“How can this program have an integral effect on promoting the growth of MSMEs,” he told reporters in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/1/2024). He added that large entrepreneurs and SMEs can jointly build the economy.
Currently, he said, as much as 90 percent of the wheels of society's economy rest on MSMEs. Then it is necessary to cooperate with large companies, both in terms of production and marketing.
Meanwhile, Deputy Operations 247 of the National Audit Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud Denon Prawiraatmadja, stated that the third party has a free internet program. The goal is for MSMEs in the country to gain added value.
It was mentioned that increasing the class of MSMEs up the grade could have an impact on 17 million jobs. “It will certainly increase the quality of our HR. In terms of improving our quality, one of Ganjar-Mahfud's outstanding programs is one family one scholar,” he said on a similar occasion.
MSMEs are expected to be digitally literate and utilize all digital platforms, so that various local MSME products are not only marketed domestically. But also to the international market.
Then Secretary of presidential candidate number 1, Wijayanto Samirin said that local government, state-owned enterprises and BUMD play a big role in utilizing the procurement of goods/services from MSMEs. According to him, if you can order goods to MSMEs, then there is no need to send messages to other parties.
Team of Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan is also said to encourage large corporations to participate in procurement of goods/services from MSMEs. He said that about 65 percent to 75 percent of his vision documents were related to the economy.
Among them are related to the business world being the engine of economic growth, ease of effort, and sustainable problems. Wijayanto explained, Timnas AMIN will emphasize the importance of the business world as a motor for job creation and improving national competitiveness.
