Yudhoyono monitors political and security situation

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono continues to monitor the development of political and security situation after presidential election. General Elections Commision has announced the result of presidential election and declared Joko Widodo as the winner.

"Right now, President communicates directly with senior leaders of military and police through a video conference in Cikeas palace to ensure security control," Presidential spokesman, Julian Aldrin Pasha said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In the teleconference, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto also reported that today's situation was under control. President also ordered police and military forces to monitor the situation and fulfill their task in professional manner. Every post is on standby 24 hours for this situation.
