REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Chairman of Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), Prabowo Subianto said that Indonesia was now experiencing discrepancy or anomaly. He cited one example,  Indonesia was rich of natural resources but the people were poor.

"Indonesian territory is endowed by more than three quarters of sea, but we are still importing fish and salt. Tropical agricultural region in Indonesia should have been able to harvest three times in quantity but this country still imports onions, cassava, and meat," Prabowo said on Wednesday.

Prabowo said Indonesia was not yet independent and unable to compete with other countries. As the fourth largest nation, Indonesia also could not produce motorcycles and cars.

Currently some survey show that with Governor of Jakarta Joko Widodo and some other figures, Prabowo sits among the most favorable politicians to be the next president.
