Garuda serves direct flight Singapore-Surabaya

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA - State-owned airline Garuda Indonesia plans to serve direct flight Surabaya-Singapore in the second quarter of 2013.

"Surabaya has a big potency of business and tourism," Executive Director of Garuda Indonesia, Emirsyah Satar, said on Thursday. The move is a part of its plans to use new terminal of Juanda International Airport, Surabaya, to operate in late 2013.

"We also plan to use our Boeing 747 to serve Surabaya-Jeddah," he said.

Garuda Indonesia has also opened its second gallery in Surabaya, with the first is in Senayan City, Jakarta. The Garuda Indonesia Gallery is a one stop service for its customers, providing reservation, tickets, city check-in, tourism package, and flight consultation.
