REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, Gurjit Singh, said that batik is one of the most exquisite and beautiful manifestation of Indonesia. “I am very happy that I have the opportunity to come to Indonesia and see the original batik,” he said to Republika.

He said that batik was the big achievement for Indonesia because when people see batik people think about Indonesia.  “In fact, the world and asia should be proud about Indonesian batik,” he said.
