REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Only the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) of the black box of the Sukhoi superjet 100 had been recovered, Head of the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Air Marshal Daryatmo said. 

"The CVR is badly damaged and burnt down," Daryatmo said at Halim Perdanakusuma airport in Jakarta Wednesday.

Daryatmo arrived at Halim from Bogor with the black box by two military helicopters. The black box had been retrieved by the joint SAR team yesterday afternoon and was brought to the Cijeruk command post seven hours later.

He said while its condition is burnt down, the component could still be used because it was burned down only externally. "The one that has not been recovered is the Flight Data Recorder (FDR), and the team was still searching for it," Daryatmo.
