Pelantikan Ahok sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Newly appointed Governor of Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or known as Ahok cooperates with Beijing, in business and investment. The capital of the People's Republic of China will hand a Futon articulated bus, which will be used for TransJakarta.

"It proves that China-made bus is far better than US'. The engine is also good," Ahok said after meeting Mayor of Beijing, Wang An Shu in Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, November 19.

Besides investing in transportation, Beijing will cooperate with Jakarta in tackling floods and garbage, the main problems of Jakarta. The governor hopes the cooperation will help the city to solve its problems.

Both cities will also cooperate on culture, education and sports.
