REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BUSAN -- Indonesia and Korea sign arrangement of Joint Committee to form e-government. The agreement is an outcome of the Cooperation in the Area of Administrative Reform between Indonesia's Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and Korea's Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs (MOGAHA) signed in July 4, 2013.

"We have signed arrangement to form Joint Committee for e-government," Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Yuddy Chrisnandi said on Thursday, December 11.

Both countries will cooperate on e-government and bureaucratic reform as well as conducting joint research and exchanging resources to enhance the cooperation. The Joint Committee will also make recommendation for each government in term of cooperation.

Chrisnandi said that South Korea wished to build e-Government International Collaboration Centre in Jakarta. "The center will maintain Indonesia and Korea collaboration and ease our coordination on e-government," he said.
