International medical law expert to hold meeting in Bali

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - International health law and forensic experts will hold a World Congress on Medical Law in Nusa Dua, Bali, next August 22-24, 2014.

"The congress will among other things discuss law enforcement in health-related criminal case, health law, medical law, legal medicine, forensic medicine, bioethics and medical ethics," said President of the Congress M Nasser.

According to him the congress will be participated in by law experts, forensic doctors and law practitioners in health-related case from countries around the world. The congress aims to allow health law experts to share their experiences in dealing with various criminal cases in their respective countries.

Indonesia is named as the host of the World Congress on Medical Law this year. The congress in Bali will be held in cooperation with the Association of Medical Law Society Indonesia (MHKI).

Apart from law and health experts, the congress will also be attended by Indonesia's Attorney General, Chief of the Supreme Court, Chief of the Constitutional Court and Chief of the National Police.
