Jokowi's campaign team optimistic to secure 70 percent of votes in Bali

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR - The campaign team of presidential candidate Joko Widodo (known as Jokowi) and his running mate, Jusuf Kalla or JK is optimistic to secure 70 percent of votes in Bali. Head of PDI-P's campaign team in Bali, Wayan Koster said that PDIP led 60 percent of votes in general election in Bali. 

"Bali is one of PDIP's bases. We are optimistic to win 70 percent of votes in the next presidential election," Koster said on Wednesday in Denpasar.

Jokowi and JK draw support from politicals parties and public as well as local figures like Dewa Ngakan Made Budiasa, Sri Wigunawati, Anak Agung Mahadipta, and Cok Budhi Suryawan. The winning team declared their their support in front of Balinese People Struggle Monument (Bajra Sandhi Monument) in Renon, Denpasar, on May 29, 2014. At least five thousands people participated in the event.
