PPP wants to build coalition with Gerindra unconditionally

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - United Development Party (PPP) stressed the party's stance on coalition with Gerindra Party. Secretary General of PPP, Romahurmuziy, said that PPP wanted build coalition unconditionally ahead presidential election in July. 

"As the chairman (of PPP) said, we propose a vice presidential candidate unconditionally," he said on Saturday.

Main goals and national agenda become the most important factors to build coalition. The party underlines its stance that any coalition partner must respect PPP's principles.   

"Our partners must respect PPP's six principles and its five values," Romahurmuziy said on Saturday. 

PPP held a national convention on Saturday, to determine their coalition partner towards presidential election. The convention was opened by Chairman of PPP, Suryadharma Ali, in the afternoon.
