REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that he wanted to build positive political tradition towards national leadership change.

"I want to build good political tradition towards leadership change, especially in the presidential election in Indonesia which is expected to be peaceful, noble and dignified," Yudhoyono said on Saturday.

President urged people to respect the president elect to fulfill his duties. Yudhoyono said he would explain national budget 2015 and all achievements in the last ten years of national development including its fails, if the new president requested. 

"Hopefully he succeeds to fulfill his duties," Yudhoyono said, referred to his successor.
