Densus 88 chases terrorists in Bandung

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Dozens of Densus 88 personnels of the Police Headquarters continued to chase four terrorists at Kampung Batu Rengat, Margaasih district in Bandung, West Java. They raided a rented house allegedly occupied by suspected terrorists on Thursday.

The police surrounded the suspected terrorists and fired dozens of shots. "The siege began on Wednesday at 11 am," Head of West Java Police Spokesman, Senior Commissioner Martinus Sitompul said on Wednesday. House which was inhabited by suspected terrorists owned by a resident named Anda Suhanda. 

The siege at Margaasih was a development of regional terrorism cases at Cipacing, Sumedang few days ago. Densus 88 then giving chase against four suspected terrorists. Police have not been able to defeat the terrorists because they fought back with firearms and they held hostage two children.
