Police investigates theft in Moroccan Embassy

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Police are investigating theft in Embassy of Morocco in Jakarta. The embassy, located in Denpasar Street Setiabudi, South Jakarta, was robbed on Monday. The robber stole a unit of personal computer.

"This is our task to investigate the case," Spokesman of Jakarta Police Department, Rikwanto, said on Tuesday.

Rikwanto said that police had asking questions to several witness. They pointed out that it was Mustafa Gani, a diplomat staff, who found out that the computer was stolen. The robber might enter the building from a window.

Rikwanto said that police were only patrol outside the embassy, while the embassy itself was guarded by security officers. "The embassy has not asked for extra guard, but we have asked security officers to be more serious," he said.
