The 4th World Peace Forum to be held in Indonesia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Central Board of Muhammadiyah, an Islamic organization in Indonesia, will hold the fourth World Peace Forum (WPF) in Bogor, West Java, from November 23-36. The event is co-organized with Cheng Ho Multi Culture Education Trust and Centre for Dialogue and Cooperation among Civilisation (CDCC).

Hundred figures will explore the implementation of democracy in multiculturalism. The aim of this biennial event is to develop open dialogue on identity, multiculturalism and democracy. This forum will also draft a concept of One Humanity, One Destiny and One Responsibility as a basic of multiculturalism philosophy. 

This forum was firstly held in Jakarta in 2006 with the theme One Humanity, One Destiny, One Responsibility. Based on the recommendation made in WPF-1, the theme is remained the same until today.
