REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Nanik Sudaryati Deyang steps down as Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). “It is with a heavy heart that I finally said goodbye Mr. President to undergo treatment in LN for my heart, the plan is today, Wednesday (22/7/2026) that I leave,” Nanik said in a Facebook post.

“This is not because I don't trust the great doctors in Indonesia, but for a second opinion and there happened to be a friend who recommended where I wanted to go,” Nanik said.

He admitted that he had told President Prabowo. “With thousands of apologies it seems that I have to step down as Head of BGN, for the sake of my health, and because the President is concerned and sorry for me, the President agreed, but I was asked to remain in charge of BGN,” Nanik said.

He admitted that it is likely that the President will form the Supervisory Board of BGN in the future. “Where I was told to be the chairman of its supervisory board (if the divorce could still be important not related to money holding, the oath of acute trauma),

” Nanik said. The news was also confirmed by Special Assistant to the President Dirgayuza Setiawan when the Republic was confirmed. “Today, July 22, 2026, Ms. Nanik Deyang said goodbye to President Prabowo to undergo heart treatment. He also resigned as Head of the National Nutrition Board,” Yuza told Republika in Jakarta on Wednesday.
