REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission Agus Raharjo revealed celebrity Inneke Koesherawati allegedly involved in bribing Wahid Husein, the head of Sukamiskin Penitentiary Institution, Bandung, West Java. However, her role was still being further explored by KPK investigators.

"Clearly, she was involved among others in ordering the car," Agus said at Attorney General Office, Jakarta, on Monday (July 23).

Earlier, KPK investigators secured Inneke from her house in Menteng, Central Jakarta, in a sting operation (OTT) early on Saturday (July 21). She was taken to KPK office to be questioned as she was believed to have some information related to bribery case of granting facilities in Sukamisin prison.

Agus said in a near time Inneke probably will be summoned again. KPK did not determined Inneke as suspect.

Inneke's husband, Fahmi Darmawansyah is a corruption convict who lived in an "exclusive" cell in Sukamiskin prison. Fahmi's room was equipped with air conditioning, television, refrigerator and wash basin.

Fahmi has been convicted of corruption for his role in a graft case related to the Maritime Security Board (Bakamla) procurement project. KPK suspected the graft convict had bribed several officials in the penitentiary, in exchange for special facilities for the convicts. The Commission has also sealed several empty cells in the prison.

In red-handed operation at Sukamiskin Penitentiary, KPK arrested the chief of Sukamiskin prison Wahid Husen along with five other people, including Fahmi, a government official, a prison staff, and their relatives.

After conducting examination, KPK determined four suspects in the bribery allegations. They are Wahid Husein, Wahid's staff Hendry Saputra, Fahmi Darmawansyah and other inmate Andri Rahmat.

Suspected recipients of the bribe are Wahid and Hendry. Meanwhile, the bribe givers are Fahmi Darmawansyah and Andri Rahmat.

KPK suspected Wahid has received money and two cars, as he served as Sukamiskin Penitentiary warden since March. He allegedly gave facilities and permits that actually can not be given to the inmates.

KPK investigators has seized evidences, namely Rp 279 million and 1,140 US dollar and a black Mitsubishi Triton Exceed and a black Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Dakar. KPK also found related documents.
