Democratic Party to discuss central axis on Rapimnas

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Democratic Party will hold national leadership meeting (Rapimnas) on March 10 to 11 at SICC, in Sentul, Bogor, West Java. The party Central Executive Board (DPP) chairman, Herman Khaeron said one of the things that will be discusses is related to the central axis parties meeting which took place on March 8.

"Of course we do political communication, although we dont know how the end of it," said Herman on Friday (March 9).

Earlier, a number of politicians from Democratic Party, National Mandate Party (PAN) and National Awakening Party (PKB) held a meeting on Thursday (March 8). The meeting was part of the political dynamics.

"I think our party conception is to encourage open democracy so that it includes some components of the nation," Herman added.

Furthermore, Herman said Democratic Party Rapimnas is a consolidation for winning the 2019 presidential election. He revealed the winning strategy is already prepared by its central board, and it must be socialized and consolidated by the entire structure of the existing Democratic Party.

Meanwhile, related to the discourse to name Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as a presidential candidate, it will be communicated further with the existing parties. Herman said it depended in the political dynamics that will happen in the future.
