REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Agus Rahardjo has hinted that the commission will soon name a new suspect in an alleged graft case related to the procurement of e-ID cards nationwide.

"It is true," he said, after inducting three KPK advisers at the KPK building, here on Thursday.

But the KPK chief refused to divulge when exactly the new suspect will be announced.

"It is likely that the new suspect will be named soon," he added.

Earlier, KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah noted that the anti-graft body is focusing on probing the alleged involvement of politicians in the graft case.

"In-depth probe of the political cluster is one of the important parts in the e-ID case. During court proceedings, a series of events allegedly involving a number of politicians, bureaucrats, and private parties has begun to surface," he remarked.
