REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Live interview of candidates for the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has ended, Wednesday (26/8). Chairman of KPK selection committee, Destri Damayanti, said the committee team will conduct further consolidation among the team members after the interview ended.

"These three days were quite tiring but running smoothly, the next process is that we will begin to consolidate," said Destri, at the State Secretariat, Jakarta, Wednesday (26/8).

Furthermore, the selection committee also has five aspects of evaluation of KPK leader candidates, namely moral integrity, competence, leadership, independence, and work experience that can provide added value to KPK.

“The test result will be announced after the results of medical test come out, on 28th August,” she added.

The candidates selection result will be submitted to the president on 31st August. Deputy chairman of  KPK selection committee, Enny Nurbaningsih, insisted that the selection committee will not see references or recommendations in determining the candidates who qualify.

"The selection processes were open. We do not accept any recommendation," Enny said.

Live interview was the final stage of selection process. It took place since Monday (24/8) and ended on Wednesday (26/8).
