A thousand livestock for Gaza

Rep: Indonesian NGO to donate livestock for Gaza PADANG - An Indonesian non-governmental organization (NGO), plans to donate 1,000 livestock for Palestinian. The program of this NGO, National Committee for Palestine (KNRP), is a part of 'Qurban for Palestine' program which launched on Sunday, October 7. The donation is aimed to show solidarity and celebrate the upcoming Eid al Adha. KNRP is optimistic that they could provide 1,000 livestock. Currently, the organization has gathered 200 livestock at the value of 600 million IDR. A hundred of them came from Mayor of Padang, Fauzi Bahar. Public Relation Manager of KNRP, Afwan Riyadi, said the livestock would be delivered to Gaza on October 19 and expected to arrive before Eid al Adha. KNRP said that they had communicated with Egypt Embassy in Indonesia and Indonesian Embassy in Egypt to facilitate the distribution while the livestock will be bought in Kairo.
