REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Thousands of residents from various areas in Pandeglang Regency, Banten, flooded Menes Square on Sunday, December 10, 2023, to join the Solidarity Action for the Palestinian People. The Alliance of Palestinian Pandeglang Bela Society (AMPBP) became the main initiator of this action, collaborating with various community organizations as well as social communities around Pandeglang, Banten.

Lili, who led the implementation of the activity, confirmed that AMPBP had successfully gathered around 45 community organizations and social communities in Pandeglang, Banten to support the action. The event began with istighatsah kubra as a form of prayer for Palestinians, followed by a speech from representatives of the organization's leadership who attended.

In addition to providing volunteers and medical service posts, Amanah Takaful also introduced the “Kencleng 3S (Alms of a Thousand Days)” movement as a tangible step to help the Palestinians. “This 3S (Thousand Days' Alms) movement is an initiative to facilitate people to continue their commitment to helping Palestinians in a light way that is charity through cleng,” Ade Abduracahman, director of Amanah Takaful said.

At the end of the event, the committee announced that the donation collected about IDR 157,000,000, the distribution of which will be facilitated by Amanah Takaful as the designated party.

“We express our gratitude and appreciation to all those who have given confidence in the distribution of donations collected through the Takaful Trust. God willing, we are committed to ensuring donations from the Pandeglang community reach the brothers in Palestine,” Ade said.
