Jokowi receives credentials of five embassies

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received credentials from Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) of Designate Resident and Designate Non Resident Embassy for Indonesian Republic. The handover was held at Presidential Palace, Jakarta at about 09.00 am on Thursday.  

Five extraordinary and plenipotentiary embassy gave the credential one by one to the President. Jokowi was accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo.

The handover was also attended by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs AM Fachir, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and State Secretary Minister Pratikno. 

The five embassies were Pitchayaphant Chambumido from Thailand, Jose Maria Matres Manso from Spain, Fabian Valdivieso from Ecuador, Masafumi Ishii from Japan, and Dave Chandalai Persad from Trinidad and Tobago.
