So, what are the roles of the husband that must be performed? Here is a summary of the book “Keys to Successful Happy Housekeeping” by Abu Ubaidah Yusuf bin Mukhtar as-Sidawi.

1. Giving birth and inner livelihood

Allah (swt) said: “Let him who is able to earn a living according to his means. “(QS Ath-thalaaq [65]: 7)

Ibn Mundzir said: “The scholars we know agree that among the obligations of a person is to provide for his children.“

Therefore, be zealous, brethren, in seeking sustenance with the sincere intention of charity of worship to be the saving of your afterlife, not just for the pleasure of your world.

2. Educate him with tenderness

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Deliver a good will to women, for a woman is created from a rib. And indeed the most twisted part of the rib is the upper part. If you straighten it, you will break it. And if you let it, it will remain crooked. Send a message of kindness to women. “(narrated by Bukhari)

Husbands, stretch your wife's hand toward God's paradise. Fill his heart with counsel with love and coolness because you have chosen him to be your companion of life and your ribs and part of your life.

3. Noble natures

Doing good to wives is highly recommended by our religion. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “A believer whose faith is the most perfect is the most virtuous. And the best of you is the best of manners to his wife. “(narrated by at-Tirmidzi)

Ironically, many people adorn themselves with noble morals if they meet their neighbors, their best friends, new people they meet, but so bad manners are with their wives and children.
