REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Inspector General Ari Dono Sukmanto has officially been inaugurated as the new chief of the National Police's Crime investigation Department (Bareskrim) replacing Commissioner General Anang Iskandar.
"This is part of the human resource development cycle in the National Police that has been built based on a pattern," National Police chief General Badrodin Haiti said when leading the ceremony to mark the transfer of the post at the National Police Headquarters here on Tuesday.
He hoped Inspector General Ari Dono could lead Bareskrim to make better performance in the future.
"With his outlook and experience it is hoped new Bareskrim chief Ari Dono could improve the police's performance and be responsive with regard to law enforcement especially on cases that have drwan wide public attention for the sake of justice and no other but justice," he said.
Commissioner General Anang Iskandar was named a Bareskrim high ranking official ahead of his retirement.
