REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is slated to hold a bilateral meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas here on Sunday, on the sidelines of the Fifth OIC Extraordinary Summit on Palestine and Al Quds Al Sharif.
The meeting would be held prior to a welcoming dinner to be hosted by the President, Ari Dwipayana of the Presidential Communication Team, said.
The head of state is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Jordan's Prince El Hassan Bin Talal.
"In the evening at the same place, the President will host a welcoming dinner for all delegations. The welcoming dinner is held to honor heads of the delegations attending the OIC Summit," he said.
The Summit is being held on March 6 and 7, 2016 to discuss deteriorating situation in occupied Palestine due to escalated aggression by Israeli occupying force.
