REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) targeted realization of investment in 2016 of Rp 594.8 trillion, rose 14.5 percent over the previous year. Realization of investments in January-September 2015 reached Rp 400 trillion, rose 17 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

Head of BKPM Franky Sibarani stated, BKPM worked quickly to pursue investment target in 2016. One of these steps was to build synergies between marketing team of investment and licensing services team.

Franky said, synergy between marketing team of investment and licensing services team was necessary because it conducted direct service to investor. Therefore, it was necessary to have an understanding of various policies in investment sector, which could provide certainty to investors.

"The marketing team of investment and investment licensing service team need to communicate to investors, so that the benefits can really be felt by investors," Franky said, in an official statement, Tuesday (5/1).

He explained, the government had made a breakthrough in investment licensing service which take only 3 hours with 8 license products plus a certificate of land to start their businesses. BKPM and Directorate General of Customs had also launched a green line facility to import capital goods for investment projects.
