REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, VIENNA -- Strong winds of up to 130 km/h swept across eastern part of Austria on Monday, causing power outage and road closure in the country's capital Vienna.

Roofs were seen blown off in the districts of Wiener Neustadt and Moedling on the outskirts of Vienna and three trucks travelling on the A2 Suedautobahn motorway toppled over due to the winds. Traffic authorities lowered the speed limit in the wider Vienna region to a maximum 80 km/h.
