REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DEPOK — Hijri Food Festival 2025 held at Masjid At-Thohir on 27-29 June 2025 entering its last day. Neighbors and visitors also celebrated the festival held to enliven the Islamic New Year of 1447 Hijri.
Arifin (40 years old) resident of Tapos Village around At-Thohir Mosque appreciated the event. According to him, the event had positive activities for children, such as a calligraphy and coloring contest.
“This race activity is very good at educating children, mentally training children to perform in public,” Arifin told Republika at the Hijri Food Festival 2025 event that took place in the area of Masjid At Thohir, Depok, Sunday (29/6/2025).
Arifin said that the food at the Hijri Food Festival was delicious and affordable. He hopes similar events can take place regularly every year because the events are good for children.
He added that the Hijri Food Festival is also good for enlivening the Islamic new year. The Muslim community also has a place to enliven and welcome the Islamic New Year.
Irin a mother from Bintaro also appreciated the Hijri Food Festival event. His son loves to draw so he is very supportive with the presence of a calligraphy and coloring contest for the child at the event.
“This race is good for children to have positive and purposeful activity, and there is educational value, from children just running back and forth,” Irin said.
According to him, if children receive prizes from the calligraphy and coloring contest, they will certainly be proud. In fact, even if there are no prizes, children still have fun because there are peers of playmates.
The host opened the Republika Hijriah Food Festival 2025 at Masjid At-Thohir, Depok, West Java (27/6/2025). Republika together with Kadin Indonesia Chinese Committee held Hijri Food Festival 2025 which will take place on 27-29 June 2025.
Republika Hijriah Food Festival is held in order to enliven the Islamic new year 1447 Hijri. Republika Hijriah Food Festival 2025 presents halal food exhibitions from China or China, the Middle East and Indonesia.
