REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAYAPURA -- A moderate earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale jolts Mamberamo Raya district in Papua on Sunday at 8.45 pm local time, according to Jayapura Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Office (BMKG).

It said the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 2.13 southern latitude and 138.35 eastern longitude at a depth of 81 km, or some 43 km northeast of Mamberamo Raya district.

But so far there is no further report about fatality, or material damage from the earthquake.
