REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Hakim Saifuddin said the ministery would open a hotline aimed to be more communicative with people. The move is expected to decrease gap between people and the ministry.

"People have the right to know what we do. They will know that we are working hard," Minister Saifuddin said recently.

He also asked his staff to be more transparent and effective on every program. "It is not only auditor that monitor our job, but also people. We are also responsible for our job to God," he said.
