REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR -- Personnel from Nahdatul Ulama's wing organization or Banser NU, participated in securing Christmas celebration in Church Katedral in Renon, Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday. 

"This is for the first time Banser NU participated in securing our church," a liaison officer of the ce,ebration, Ignatius Cucuk Suryanto, said. 

According to Suryanto, personnel of Banser NU involved in securing the event since night mass on Wednesday evening. Dozens traditional security personnel called "pecalang" were also joined along with police and military personnel to secure the celebration. The church held three masses on Thursday.
