Six suspect named in health center corruption case in Tangerang

Tubagus Chaeri Wardana Chasan alias Wawan is one of six suspects on corruption case in Tangerang.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The attorney general office has named six suspects in the corruption case of health centers in the South Tangerang city, Banten province, in 2011 and 2012.

One of the suspects is Tubagus Chaeri Wardhana alias Wawan, who is a brother of non active Banten Governor Ratu Atut Chosiyah, who is a suspect in graft case. Atut, held in a detention center of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), is facing a 10 year jail term by the Jakarta special anti-corruption court.

Junior Attorney General R Widyo Pramono said the six suspects were charged with corruption in the development of health centers in the province.

"The six were named suspects on August 12, 2014," Widyo said here on Friday.

The other five suspects are Mamak Jamaksari (MJ) and Dadang Mepid , both officials of the South Tangerang City health office, Neng Ulfah (NU),an official of the Banten province health office and three business people including Suprijatna Tamara (ST), Desy Yusandi (DY), and Herdian Koosnadi.
