REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Mata Elang International Stadium (MEIS) will develop its own buildings in two popular places in Indonesia, Jakarta and Bali. One of shareholders of PT MEIS, Henry Yosodoningrat said that the building plan aimed to meet the needs of musicians, promoters and music lovers in the country to have stadium or theater with international standard.
"We may build the new building," Yosodiningrat said recently.
The new building will be built in locations with good transportation access. Operational Director of MEIS, Linda C Banowati said that Jakarta and Bali were chosen as the company wanted to open bigger market.
MEIS is an international music stadium located at Ancol Dreamland, Jakarta, with the capacity of 20,000 people. MEIS often held international concert, such as K-pop groups (BigBang, Super Junior, Infinite, Girls Generation) also international musicians (Stings, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne).
