Morotai to have two historical museums

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TERNATE - Morotai district in North Maluku cooperates with Directorate of Cultural Heritage Preservation and Museum in Ministry of Education and Culture to build two historical museums in the city. Both museums have been planned well with local government.

"The two museums are Tri Kora and World War II museum," Head of Sub-Department of Exploration and Documentation in Directorate of Cultural Heritage Conservation and Museum, Sri Patmisari said recently.

Patmisari explained that the ground breaking would be started in December 2013. The first construction budget is estimated worth 30 billion IDR from state budget 2013.

Government will allocate museum collection cost, showroom and layout, which will be exhibited in the museum. These museums still requires further study according to collection types.
