Three Indonesian fishermen missing in Malaysian water

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SAMARINDA - Three Indonesian fishermen were reported missing in Malaysian waters, while another one survived after their boat sank in waters of Tawau, Malaysia. Lahuddu (31 years) who lives in Malaysia managed to survive after in sea for two days.

Lahuddu was later rescued by boat of Indo Maya which sailing from Nunukan, North Kalimantan to Berau, East Kalimantan. The missing fishermen including vessel skipper are identified as Adi, Lamilo and Keo.

"Lahuddu was rescued by boat of Indo Maya in water around Tarakan, North Kalimantan," Head Police Chief of Derawan Island, Puji Suyanto said recently.

"The weather was erratic then sudden strong winds hit our boat. Immediately, our boat tilted to the right and then it was reversed," Lahuddu said.
