REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol targets to increase number of visits to tourist attractions in amusement park of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol to 1.2 million visitors during this Eid al-Fitr holidays. Corporate Communication Manager of Ancol, Ari Kurniawan said the figure increased from last year target of one million visitors.

"We are optimistic that we can achieve this target during Eid holidays which starts from August 5 to 18. We expect the number of visitors will continue to increase year to year," Kurniawan said on Saturday.

Taman Impian Jaya Ancol has prepared some special venues and facilities for Eid holidays 2013. Several recreation areas in Ancol also offer performances to attract many visitors, such as Ice Age in Dunia Fantasi, Crazy Slide in Atlantis and 4D movie of Spongesbob Squarepants in Ocean Samudra. Kurniawan predicted that peak of visitors in Ancol would continue until three days after Eid holidays.
