Batam residents collect 120 million IDR for Palestinians

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BATAM - National Committee for Palestinian People (KNRP) in Riau Islands managed to collect 120 million IDR donated for Palestinians. 

"Thank God, the fund reaches 120 million IDR. Thanks for Muslim community in Batam who care about the suffering and struggling of Palestinian people to fight Zionists who occupy the Holy Land," Head of KNRP in Riau Islands, Bahktiar Muhammad Rum said on Sunday, referred to Al Quds in East Jerusalem.

Raising funds will be continued until the fund reaches 200 million IDR. KNRP focused to provide health assistance, education and agriculture or plantations. The fundraising event was also attended by Shaikh Ali Ahmad Muqbil, a Palestinian fighter who had been jailed by Zionist for 20 years.
