REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Zulkarnaen firmly said that foreign fund was not allowed to used in general elections.

"DKPP has sacked 70 members of the General Election Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Boards which violated code of conduct," Zulkarnaen said in a meeting with General Chairman of the Honorary Board of Election Organizers (DKPP), Jimly Asshiddiqie, on Saturday.

Foreign fund is considered risky if used for general elections. Ministry of Finance has already sent circular letters that every incoming fund must be stated clear about its sources, purposes, as well as its input and output reports.
