China's president meet Indonesian ambassador

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BEIJING - China's President Xi Jinping, met Indonesian Ambassador to China, Imron Cotan, on Wednesday. Xi expressed his hope to boost cooperation between China and Indonesia. 

"Xi said that Indonesia was one of the big states within the region. He hopes we can boost our relations in the future," Cotan said on Thursday.

Cotan said that Indonesia congratulated Xi expected the leadership of President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang could strengthen relations China and Indonesia as strategic partner.

"We have achieved much since strategic partnership was signed in April 2005," he said.

President Xi Jinping with Li Keqiang and Vice President Li Yuanchao also met with other ambassadors and representatives from international organization.
