SBY asks ministers to follow up his working visit

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) arrived in Indonesia on Saturday morning after five day working visits to Germany and Hungary. He asked related ministers to follow up the talks as he made some agreements with those countries during his visits. 

SBY, right after landing in Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, held a meeting with several ministers, Commander of Indonesian Armed Forces Admiral Agus Suhartono and Chief of National Police General Timur Pradopo.

Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law and Security, Djoko Suyanto, said SBY explained his visit to Germany and Hungary during the meeting. Coordinating Minister of Economy, Hatta Rajasa, gave the detail, saying that there were potential agreements in economic sectors, especially with Germany.

Several large companies, such as Volkswagen, are interested to invest in Indonesia. Siemens and petrochemical company, Ferostral, are also potential investors. "Ferostral will in invest in petrochemical in Papua. The investment is worth 1.8 billion USD," he said on Saturday.
