REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - An Indonesian Non-governmental Organization, the President Center (TPC), plans to sue former Malaysian Minister of Information Zainuddin Maidin after he insulted the third Indonesian president, BJ Habibie.
"Maidin's statement is insulting the third President of Indonesia, BJ Habibie, while it also means he demeans Indonesians," Coordinator of TPC, Didied Maheswara, said on the press release on Friday.
Earlier, Maidin was reported wrote an article in Utusan Malaysia newspaper entitled 'The Similarity between BJ Habibie and Anwar Ibrahim'. He called Habibie as traitor and dog of imperialism.
TPC would press Maidin to apologize to Indonesia through international mass media. The organization will sue him to court if he has not apologized in the next three days.
