REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Seeing from high domestic consumption and investment, Indonesian manufacture grows faster, World Bank says. Indonesia also has a second chance to show the global investor that Indonesian investment climate is conducive.

"World Bank gives a package of recommendation policy to overcome macro and micro issues to support the progress of manufacture sector in Indonesia," World Bank's senior economist to Indonesia, Sjamsu Rahardja, said on Wednesday.

Domestic demand for food, chemical material, and automotive spare parts marks the growth of manufacture sector in Indonesia. World Bank records that global financial crisis does not affect Indonesian domestic demand.

"Macro and micro issues in manufacture sector can be overcome by policies to increase competitiveness and decrease opportunity cost," he said.

He said that revitalization of manufacture sector needed strong coordination between government institutions. Private sector must be also invited to sit together and discuss the ways to enrich new policies.
