REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PARIGI - About 242 houses in Parigi Moutong, Central Sulawesi, are still inundated by flood water even though the flash floods are receding. The Local Disaster Management in Parigi Moutong, Ramli Borman, on Monday said the inhabitants had left the houses and lived in emergency shelter.

People in the Boyongtongo and Lemusa shelters are provided with foods, while those who evacuated will also get the aids. Some of the inhabitants even move to Parigi as they worry about the following flood.

Since the flood hit the region, the electricity in Olaya and Dolago in South Parigi is still out. "State electricity has not repaired it because many utility poles and electrical network are collapse and buried by land materials and trees," Borman explained.
