REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- General Election Commission (KPU) postponed Regional Head Election in some regions. KPU ensured, five regions postponed the elections.
The five regions were Central Kalimantan, Pematangsiantar (North Sumatra), Simalungun (North Sumatra), Manado (North Sulawesi), and Fak-Fak (West Papua).
Legal Division of KPU Manado Romi Poli said, the Administrative Court issued a determination of 65 number 21/pn/Pilkada/2015/P.TUN.Mks, which was immediately followed up by KPU with a letter number 1021/KPU/XII/2015 concerning on the establishment of number 21/pn/pilkada/2015/P.TUN.Mks.

The letter of KPU stated that KPU Manado has to postpone local election on 9th December 2015, until final verdict. There was determination number 21/pn/elections/2015/P.TUN.Mks related lawsuit of a candidate Jimmy Rimba Rogi and Bobi David.
"So that the election of mayor and deputy mayor of Manado is postponed until final decision of the court," said Romi.
Meanwhile, the election of Governor of Central Kalimantan was also certainly postponed. It was because the Administrative Court stated that Sonny Iskandar-Jawawi entered as a candidate. While ballot papers that were printed only included two candidates.
"It was not possible to do a revision and print of ballot papers in one day," he added.
