REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Head of Democrat Party, Herman Khaeron responded to the stance of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) who now praises the development of the capital of the archipelago (IKN). In fact, the Minister of Agrarian and Spatience/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) called that IKN is a masterpiece.
“I think that's the attitude of objectivity from Mas Ahy, for Democrats it's all based on rationality. If rationally yes this is good for the country, good for the nation, good for the people, yes it is said good,” Herman said at Nusantara Building I, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday (29/2/2024).
He said that AHY as a minister and the General Chairman of the Democratic Party had a rational thought towards IKN. It also saw the government's decision for the process of moving the nation's capital was well under way.
“Therefore, it is not just a matter of praising, looking at it. As soon as we see his progress well, of course our chairman will mention good. That's the attitude of rationality from Democrats,” Herman said.
“Yes, of course Mas AHY has seen the IKN situation and its progress is very good yes, objectively it is stated that it is the attitude of rationality from Mas AHY that it is indeed very satisfied with what President Jokowi has built,” the member of the VI Commission of the DPR said.
Previously, AHY was impressed with the construction of the Capital Archipelago or IKN in East Kalimantan during its maiden visit. The development of IKN was a major project and a masterpiece in which the government focused development first on the Central Core Area of Government (KIPP).
“It's not easy because it's a big project, a masterpiece that I said earlier that we want to focus first on KIPP where the core government is here,” AHY said.
The Ministry of ATR/BPN has up to now also tried to do homework and continues to coordinate with the OIKN. AHY itself received reports from the ATR/BPN Wamen, including from the director-general (dirjen) on what had been done by the previous ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto, who also continued to monitor and convince the Regional Office (Kanwil) of ATR/BPN at the level of East Kalimantan that it provided full support.
There are 9 detailed spatial plans (RDTR) of IKN that have also been completed, then there are also 21 land procurement packages of IKN in which 10 parcels have been completed, while the remaining 11 packages have progressed to 80 percent and another 20 percent remain that need to be well controlled.
“Thus, the hope is that the 100 days of work of the new ATR/BPN Minister can be completed and hopefully all of them can fully support the development of the region. We hope that not only as a government center, but also other strategic support locations such as Alhamdulillah with the presence of Tanah Bank Agency can prepare land for VVIP IKN Airport and other supporting infrastructure,” AHY said.
