REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Director of Political Communication of the National Campaign Team of Indonesian Work Coalition (TKN KIK), Ipang Wahid, denied the accusation of the National Winning Body (BPN) of the opposition camp. Ipang said he did not produce provocative tabloid, Indonesia Barokah.
Ipang asserted that he did not involved in any form of the unverified tabloid. The denial was conveyed through his Instagram account @Ipangwahid.
He said, Indonesia Barokah was an open movement so that anyone could contribute in this tabloid.
"Regarding Indonesia Barokah, in the name of Allah I affirm, that I wasn't the producer of Indonesia Barokah tabloid. I was also not involved in any form of the tabloid," he said.

The Secretary of TKN Hasto Kristiyanto also confirmed that none of its members involved in producing Indonesia Barokah. "Mr Ipang denied this but they (BPN) panicked. Can you imagine?" he said.
The BPN Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno accused suspected that the mastermind behind the tabloid was Irfan Wahid alias Ipang Wahid.
"Yes, we should suspect it, it is indicated (that he involved). So we are waiting for clarification from Mr Ipang," said BPN spokesman Andre Rosiade when confirmed on Sunday (Jan 28).
Andre said, Ipang's name appeared after tracking a digital track record. An investigation was conducted by the BPN's IT team on the website indonesiabarokah.com.
He continued, the result was that there was a similarity in the logo between the website and the tabloids distributed to a number of mosques and prayer rooms.
