5 pillars game to be marketed in April

Peter Gould will introduce 5 Pillars game on Saturday, March 17, at Gramedia PIM.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The 5 Pillars game will be available in the bookstores in April. Prior to the sale, the educational game will be introduced by the designer himself, Peter Gould, on Saturday (March 17) at 11:00 am at Gramedia Pondok Indah Mall (PIM), South Jakarta. 

"There will be public figures and Gould who introduce the concept of game directly to the community," said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Republika Publisher, Arys Hilman Nugraha. 

The 5 Pillars game will be a great alternative to gadgets. The game has three principles, namelyplay, learn, and connect.

"When playing 5 Pillars, we could have fun, got many lesson, and also connect with our environment. It's not like gadgets that seemed to be individual, said Arys on Tuesday (March 13).

The 5 Pillars game offers three variants each containing Islamic content. In addition to board games or games using boards, there is a game box that demands creativity as well as trivia. In total, there are 2,500 questions asked to play with varied opponents.

Due to Islamic content, all the questions in 5 pillars game have been accredited by Indonesian Council of Ulema (MUI). The game is considered safe. "There is no radicalism element and other dangerous values," Arys remarked.

The 5 pillars game has been marketed in several countries. The game was first played in England, France and South Africa. "It has been circulated in three languages, which are English, French and Arabic. Bahasa is awarded to be the fourth language and to be followed by Turkey and Malaysia next year," Arys explained.

The educational game is designed by the famous Australian designer, Peter Gould. He has converted to Islam at the age of 21 and is well known for various digital projects, including designing educational applications for Muslim children.
